        GOD'S PLACE

      There is a peace here so profound,
      That you can feel the heartbeat,
      and breathe in unison with the earth.

      There is a song here that is played
      in the fields, and in the forests,
      and within all hearts.

      There is a secret here,
      That is the answer to all our searching.

      Here is this place,
      God's dream and ours are one.

The original meaning of the name "PENZANCE": "God's Holy Headland, a place for Spiritual Growth".
